Hello, I'm Polly, a qualified and experienced yoga teacher offering 'Hatha' yoga style yoga classes in the South West area of Shrewsbury. See below to learn about my yoga experience.
What kind of yoga is it? It’s “kind yoga” hence the name “Yogakind”.
Be kind to yourself – you don’t need to execute a perfect pose as it appears in the text book and yoga is not a “one size fits all” pursuit – rather, the aim is to be present, experiencing all the sensations that a yoga pose (asana) brings to the body and mind and to know how far to yield into it.
All you need is a wish to find agility and ease in body and mind – this all comes from within yourself. We are all on a journey including the yoga teacher!
A yoga teacher is a facilitator and assists in helping you to enquire about your own body, mind and breath. Many people think that you have to be very supple to practise yoga - that is not the case, we practise in order to become more supple, working at what our own individual body is able to do comfortably!
Put simply, Yoga is a wonderful gift – it is is union, balance, clarity, humility, healing, peace - ‘all the good things’.
Fully qualified yoga teacher (RealYoga Training School 500 hours accredited by Independent Yoga Network - IYN)

The practice of yoga has been a comforting constant in my life - always in the background throughout my successes and failures, during times of joy as well as throughout difficult times.
I have been enjoying teaching yoga for six years and I am planning new teaching projects on an ongoing basis.
