Classes with Yogakind are currently run as a 90 minute weekly class and include warm ups and yoga poses, breathing exercises, relaxation and occasional short meditation practices. In this way, you get the 'best of all worlds' in that you have a chance to practice many aspects of yoga.
However, if you are interested but can't commit to joining for the academic year, there are many short courses available. For example, you might like to learn about and experience just one aspect of yoga such as "Yoga Breathing ". This course is made up of 4 sessions. If you wish to practise just the physical aspect of yoga, there is a course for you. The postures course includes in depth work in physical yoga and also includes "yoga flows" such as sun salutations. If you want something gentle and therapeutic, you can choose to join the course in Restorative healing Yoga – this course includes enjoyable poses and plenty of relaxation. There are many possibilities based on your interests and needs. - please see list of Yoga Kind courses from the downloadable section in Other stuff.
Courses will be held in Marton Vlllage Hall, SY21 or Brockton Hall, SY5.
I love to share yoga and I am keen to encourage each yoga practitioner to "speak from their inner voice" and feel able to decide what practices they need and when; rather than just copying a "one size fits all pose" from a teacher. I endeavour to put my classes together in an easy to understand and methodical way with your well-being in mind..
